Migraine and Neurospasticity Intervention
Migraine management and intervention can be a complex journey. Identifying food and environmental triggers, identification of migraine type, pharmacological management with a new generation of highly effective medications and/or botulinum injections are all part of our comprehensive care program for migraine sufferers.

Neurospasticity or muscle dystonia occurs when muscles do not respond as they should resulting in stiff, contracting or rigid muscles. Conditions that are at high risk for neurospasticity include stroke, cerebral palsy, head or spine injury, and sometimes the cause is unknown. Muscle dystonia can also be a contributing factor in migraine patients. Utilizing botulinum injections is an effective treatment allowing the muscles to relax which can decrease pain and increase mobility.
A board certified family practice physician, Dr. Brian Snyders has incorporated migraine management and botulinum toxin injections into his practice for several years. Now retired from family medicine, he is devoted to helping patients find relief from migraines and muscle spasticity issues.
